Job Description:

Join a specialized Oncology RN role at Aspirus Wausau Hospital, where you'll be an integral part of the Oncology Care Unit. This 13-week contract offers the opportunity to work 12-hour night shifts, caring for surgical and medical oncology patients, with an occasional chance to support other units. Your responsibilities will include administering chemotherapy and using Epic EMR for charting, along with operating medication scanning Rovers and Alaris pumps. Experience in MedSurg Oncology, along with a WI RN license, BLS, and chemo certification, is required. Expect to float as needed to maintain optimal patient care, with support from techs and staffing adjustments during night shifts. This role combines clinical expertise with the chance to be part of a dedicated team in a fast-paced environment, all while working in a city known for its welcoming community and rich local history.
