Job Description:

Join IU Health in Indianapolis as a Travel PCU Registered Nurse on a 13-week contract. You'll work 12-hour night shifts, providing specialized care for cardiovascular patients in a progressive care unit. Expect to monitor patients with cardiac arrhythmias, post-cath procedures, and those preparing for heart transplants or valve surgeries. The role offers a blend of independent practice and collaborative team work, with opportunities to float to different levels of care as needed. This assignment is perfect if you're comfortable with weekend work and enjoy mentoring students or being part of a teaching hospital environment. Prior trauma Level I experience and recent cardiac ICU background are essential, along with certifications in BCLS and preferably ACLS. Your weekly schedule includes a 36-hour commitment, with pay averaging approximately $1,826.88 gross weekly.
