Job Description:

Join a travel healthcare contract in Garrison, North Dakota, supporting an ED/MedSurg Swing of beds team with a mix of acute and swing bed staffing. This role follows a 12-hour day schedule, with weekend and holiday rotation every other week. You’ll bring one year of MedSurg experience and be ready for a variety of common ED and MedSurg presentations while working within the unit’s established workflow and support staff structure.

As this position may include charge responsibilities, you should be comfortable stepping into a charge nurse/house supervisor charge nurse role as needed. Care needs here may involve common titratable therapies and set rate drips (including the need for RN participation in titrating drips), along with using equipment such as oxygen (nasal and mask) and NEBS, and supporting monitoring/strip reading as applicable. A BLS and ACLS certification are required, and RN strip reading may apply within the ED setting.

Please note: applicants must complete a clinical interview and follow the 50-mile radius rule. Prior perm or PRN work at CSH within the last 12 months is not permitted.
