Job Description:

Join a travel contract as a Cardiac Tele Registered Nurse supporting adult observation and inpatient overflow, including patients with chest pain/acute coronary syndrome, cardiac arrhythmias, diabetes, syncope, CVA/TIA work-up, pneumonia, heart failure, COPD, sepsis, and GI bleed. You’ll work a night schedule (3x12 hours, 19:00–07:30) and be prepared to float to nearby units based on facility needs.

This assignment emphasizes cardiac/telemetry monitoring and coordinated care within the Oconee Memorial Rapid Assessment Unit services, including pulse oximetry monitoring, patient assessment, coordination of testing and procedures, and collaboration with providers and multidisciplinary teams. You may also assist with special cardiac-related procedures and supports such as permanent pacemaker pacing, TEE, thoracentesis/paracentesis, and Level 3 administration of continuous intravenous infusions and Level 3 IV push medications per facility policy. Weekend coverage is every other weekend, with potential adjustments as needed.

Medication systems include Pyxis and Omnicell. The role requires at least one year of EPIC experience, plus current SC RN licensure and certifications including ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS.
