Job Description:

Join a prestigious Level I Trauma Center in Memphis for a 13-week travel contract as a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse. In this role, you'll work the day shift, providing direct patient care in a busy hospital setting utilizing a team nursing model with a 1:12 ratio (split between two RNs, LPNs, and Med Nurses). It's a position that requires at least two years of recent experience in medical-surgical nursing and familiarity with trauma protocols. This assignment offers a chance to experience a high-volume hospital environment where you'll sharpen your skills handling complex cases, all while being part of a dedicated team. Note that first-time travelers to this facility are generally not advised unless they have five or more years in the specialty, ensuring a smooth transition into this demanding yet rewarding role.
