Job Description:

Step into a newly built acute care unit in Orangeburg, South Carolina, supporting MS/Tele patients with real-time bedside telemetry monitoring. This Travel Healthcare contract is for a Registered Nurse focused on Med-Surg/Telemetry (MS/Tele) work, interpreting dysrhythmias and maintaining accurate telemetry assessment while supporting a unit workflow built from the ground up.

You’ll work 12-hour day shifts in a 3x12 schedule (06:45a–7:15p) and be prepared to float within scope as needed to meet facility demand. Weekend commitment is part of the rhythm of this assignment—every other weekend is non-negotiable. Coverage includes 24/7 house supervisor support, and leadership is available off-shift by phone.

A SC or Compact license must be in hand prior to start, with BLS and ACLS required. NIHSS is also required, and experience with telemetry interpretation and MS/Tele workflows is essential (2 years required; first-timers accepted).

Expect warm, often humid conditions with frequent sunshine and occasional rain. Evenings are typically mild, with the possibility of brief thunderstorms.
