Job Description:

Join a busy Emergency Room team handling a variety of urgent cases, from strokes and orthopedic injuries to abdominal pain and mental health crises. This role offers an immersive experience in a 15-bed department with a dedicated fast track area open from 9am to 10pm. You’ll work alongside charge nurses, nurse aides, techs, and a unit secretary, supporting a patient load that can include high-acuity cases requiring quick thinking and teamwork. The ER is equipped with Cerner (First Net) EMR and Phillips central monitors, with vents available as needed. With continuous physician coverage and 24/7 pharmacy support, this assignment offers a comprehensive environment for seasoned professionals with 3-5 years of trauma or emergency experience. Expect 12-hour night shifts, with schedules planned 30-45 days in advance. This position provides a chance to hone your skills in a fast-paced setting while enjoying a unique opportunity to experience a dynamic ER environment.
