Job Description:

Join Alaska Regional Hospital as a Certified Surgical Tech in a bustling Operating Room setting on the 2nd floor of the main hospital building at 2801 DeBarr Road, Anchorage. This 13-week contract offers a unique opportunity to work primarily during evening hours from 5:00 PM to 1:30 AM, with on-call responsibilities that involve about 5-6 shifts per month. As part of the surgical team, you'll be instrumental in supporting procedures such as total joints, multi-level spine fusions, and Xi robotic cases, with a focus on neuro, orthopedic, and robotic surgeries. Your role will center on maintaining sterile environments, handling specialized equipment like the Da Vinci Xi Robot, and assisting during complex surgeries. This position requires NBSTSA certification, BLS, and prior experience with the procedures and tools outlined. Be prepared for a busy, collaborative atmosphere where your expertise directly impacts surgical success.
