Job Description:

Join our team as a travel CVOR Tech supporting surgical services at a short-term acute care facility in New Haven, Connecticut. This role is centered on preparing and maintaining the surgical environment, supporting instrumentation readiness, and assisting with smooth, efficient room turnover during scheduled procedures. You’ll work in a dedicated cardiovascular operating room setting with a schedule that typically follows 10-hour days, 40 hours per week, with added flexibility for 12-hour shifts and additional coverage as needed.

Call coverage is required, with the expectation of two 24-hour calls per schedule. If you’re comfortable floating within scope to meet facility needs and you like the pace of a Level I trauma center, this assignment offers a great opportunity to build experience in a busy surgical services environment.

Requirements include 2+ years of experience and current ACLS and BLS certification. First-timers are accepted, and pending license candidates are eligible as long as an active license is in place prior to start.

Weather:

Expect a mix of mild days and cool evenings, with occasional rain and comfortable outdoor conditions between weather changes.
