Job Description:

Join a travel healthcare team supporting a Neuro Progressive Care Unit in Hickory, North Carolina. In this role, you’ll help care for adult and geriatric patients across a mix of stroke recovery, neuro-ortho surgical follow-ups, overflow telemetry, and medical patient needs. The unit also supports care coordination for conditions managed within the neuro progressive setting, using Cerner for documentation and workflow.

This assignment follows a clear schedule built around 12-hour nights—so you’ll know exactly when your shift begins and ends, and you can plan your weekdays around the unit’s rhythm. You’ll be joining a specialty-focused environment where consistency, focus, and comfort with telemetry/medical workflows matter.

One small, friendly note: you’ll be working in a unit where “neuro” is the main character—so stay ready for brain- and spine-related cases and steady post-procedure progress.

Weather:

Expect comfortable, mixed weather with warm afternoons and cooler evenings. Conditions are generally pleasant for getting outside between shifts, with occasional rain bringing brief cool-downs.
