Job Description:

Join a dynamic Medical Surgical RN travel team as a Registered Nurse supporting adult and geriatric general Med/Surg patients on 12-hour nights. This assignment brings a true “prepared and ready” rhythm—your day-to-day includes managing insulin and heparin drips, performing wound vac dressing changes, and working with therapies that may include high-flow oxygen and occasional limited short-term BiPAP with respiratory support. The unit uses Epic with Pyxis and SBAR for medication, documentation, and communication.

You’ll be part of a structured staffing model with target ratios of 1:6–7, and charge nurse responsibilities are required for night travelers. EPIC experience is required, and the role includes the opportunity to work alongside an Inclement Weather Team and participate in Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team coverage during catastrophic events, mass casualty situations, or disasters.

Expect warm, humid conditions with occasional rain showers. Nights can feel cooler with coastal breeze, and weather can shift quickly—so staying flexible is always helpful.
