Job Description:

Step into a travel infusion-focused role supporting a short-term acute care hospital in Bridgeport, Connecticut. This assignment is built around day shifts—either 3x12 or 4x12 hour days—running from 07:00 to 19:30, with every other weekend and holiday coverage as needed. You’ll report onsite on Monday, after an initial Friday start that is conducted virtually.

As an Infusion Registered Nurse, you’ll bring your chemo certification (required) and maintain required credentials including BLS and NIHSS. Charting is completed in EPIC, and the role includes floating to other MedSurg units when needed—so you’ll experience a variety of workflow demands while staying grounded in infusion specialty responsibilities. The facility is part of the Yale New Haven Health System, and the unit operates with Royal blue scrubs; free parking is available. You’ll also work within a Level II Trauma Center setting, helping ensure you’re supported by well-established processes while you deliver day-to-day infusion services.

Chemo cert required. EPIC required. Able to float as needed. Weekends and holidays are part of the schedule.

Expect warm, humid conditions with occasional coastal breezes, plus a mix of sunny and partly cloudy days. Rain showers can pop up, so keeping an umbrella handy is helpful.
