Job Description:

Step into a contract role as an ER Registered Nurse supporting a very small emergency department in Augusta, Georgia. This facility runs with 14 beds and a 1:4 staffing model, with an ambulance on site 24 hours a day to quickly transport patients when care needs exceed what this site offers. You’ll care for patients ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics, handling a broad mix of urgent needs during 12-hour night shifts (19:00–07:00). The unit uses Epic (required), along with Pyxis, SBAR, and Spacelabs to keep documentation and workflows streamlined. Orientation includes components at the main Augusta campus (approximately 3 miles away), and you may be asked to float to that campus when needed. Please note: there is no IV team and wound care is performed virtually; meals are available via vending options. If you’re bringing at least 2 years of ER experience, current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH certification, and the ability to fully meet compliance expectations for start time, this assignment offers a focused, hands-on night schedule with real clinical variety.
