Job Description:

Join a travel healthcare team as a Chemo Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract in Columbia, Missouri. This day shift role works 12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:30) with a 36-hour weekly commitment, supporting a chemotherapy-focused nursing unit. A current chemo certification is required, and floating to other MS units is expected—so your day-to-day work may include shifting assignments within the unit environment while you maintain standards of chemo preparedness and safety.

The schedule includes weekend and rotating needs, with at least 50% of holiday work expected (including 50% of EOW, as applicable). This position is active and hands-on, requiring frequent ambulating, reaching, and moving objects weighing up to and over 20 lbs. The role also involves routine exposure to patients with contagious illnesses, so following facility safety practices is essential.

BLS is required, and there are no local candidates within 50 miles. This assignment is open to a first-time traveler with at least 1 year of experience.

Weather:

Expect a mix of mild and occasionally warm days, with the possibility of cooler evenings and some rainy or stormy weather. Humidity can vary, so layering is helpful.
