Job Description:

Step into an Operating Room environment as an experienced Registered Nurse for a travel contract in Auburn, California. This role supports surgical services through hands-on perioperative nursing work that relies on sharp clinical judgment, coordinated teamwork, and precise execution in the OR. You’ll follow established department workflows across rotating day/evening shifts and may be scheduled for weekend call up to once per month, adding variety to your schedule and giving you the chance to contribute when the department needs you most.

On this assignment, you can expect day shift coverage structured as 5x8-hour shifts (07:00–14:30) while also aligning with department shift options of 07:00–15:30, 09:30–18:00, and 14:30–23:00 as needed. The setting is acute care, so your daily experience will center on functioning as a critical member of the OR team—staying organized under pressure, responding quickly to changing priorities, and keeping patient/family experience at the forefront through thoughtful nursing practice.

Requirements include CA RN licensure plus BLS, ACLS, and PALS.

Weather:

Expect comfortable, generally mild weather with plenty of sunshine and cooler evenings. Conditions are often pleasant for time outdoors, with occasional breezes.
