Job Description:

Join a fast-paced med/surg surgical unit in Oklahoma City as a registered nurse delivering hands-on care across a range of post-operative needs. This assignment focuses on inpatient pre- and post-surgical services, where you’ll care for patients returning from surgery and supporting recovery plans throughout the hospital stay.

You’ll administer medications as prescribed, monitor physiological data, and document patient responses to interventions and treatments. The work includes assisting with examinations and minor diagnostic procedures, managing IV infusions, and participating in care planning discussions with patients and families. Experience with post-operative monitoring is essential, including patients who may have new drains, wounds, trachs, ostomies, and NGT/DHT devices; some patients may also require stepdown-level monitoring.
