Job Description:

Join a fast-paced medical-surgical oncology unit contract in Columbus, Ohio as a Registered Nurse supporting patients receiving chemotherapy and related diagnostic and symptom-management services. This role is built around a 12-hour rotating schedule, with day and/or night assignments based on department needs. Shift assignments are reviewed every 4-week scheduling period, with changes dependent on staffing priorities.

What you’ll do includes continuous cardiac monitoring related to chemotherapy administration, infection prevention protocol adherence, and fall prevention. You’ll also help manage comorbidities while providing symptom management secondary to disease-related treatment or progression.

You’ll use specialized equipment such as B450 monitors with the GE telemetry system, bladder scanner, Alaris pumps, and Stryker beds. The position requires EPIC experience and strong oncology-med/surg readiness, with interpretation of dysrhythmias, port access, central line/PICC management, arterial line management, and blood product administration. Additional skills include assisting with chest tube insertion/removal and supporting IV starts and high-flow nasal cannula (HFNC) workflow with ABG interpretation. AYA oncology experience is preferred but not required.
