Job Description:

Join a specialized ICU unit in Fergus Falls, Minnesota, for an engaging 13-week travel contract. You'll work a 12-hour rotating shift schedule, caring for critically ill patients with a variety of diagnoses including stroke, STEMI, and non-STEMI. This role involves managing drips such as Cardizem, Insulin, Propofol, and vasopressors, under the supervision of hospitalists or intensivists. The unit maintains a ratio of 2 patients per RN, with necessary certifications including BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC. Expect to collaborate with telemetry and monitor techs, and work in a setting equipped with Hamilton C-1 ventilators and remote pharmacy support after hours. The position features a consistent weekly schedule of around 36 hours, with every other weekend off, and observes seven major holidays, offering a balanced work-life experience.
