Job Description:

Join a busy MS/Tele unit in Rochester, NY, for a 13-week travel contract as a Telemetry Registered Nurse. This role requires handling a high patient load, often managing 1:5 to 1:7 patient ratios, including complex cases such as long-term patients, post-surgical patients, and those requiring cardiac monitoring. You will be responsible for operating telemetry equipment, utilizing EPIC charting, and responding to rapid response and code teams. The shift is a 12-hour rotating schedule, giving you the chance to experience varying times of the day or night, all while making an impact in a top-tier tertiary hospital setting. Travel nurses must hold a valid NY license, have experience with charting systems, and be comfortable with specialized skills like pacemaker management, IV starts, and wound care. This is a demanding but rewarding position for nurses looking to broaden their clinical expertise in a fast-paced environment.
