Job Description:

This 13-week travel assignment in Morgantown, WV, offers a rewarding opportunity for Registered Nurses specialized in MedSurg Stepdown care. You will work 12-hour night shifts, providing critical support for patients post-surgery, thoracic, and medicine cases. The role involves titrating IV drips such as Cardizem and Heparin, interpreting EKG strips, and coordinating patient assessments every four hours or more frequently during medication titrations. The setting features a unit with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:3 to 1:4, with centralized telemetry monitoring. Expect to collaborate with a team comprising a charge nurse and house supervisors, while also working alongside CNA staff. This assignment offers a chance to develop advanced clinical skills in a fast-paced environment where every shift makes a difference.
