Job Description:

This registered nurse position specializes in labor and delivery, offering a chance to be at the heart of childbirth in a supportive hospital setting. You'll be responsible for performing cervical exams, managing antepartum and labor patients, administering amnio infusions, epidurals, and fetal monitoring, as well as circulating C-sections. Baby catching and receiving, APGAR scoring, and breastfeeding support are key parts of the role. The assignment combines hands-on clinical duties with the opportunity to experience a diverse patient population, including a multilingual community. Expect to work 12-hour night shifts over a 13-week contract, providing excellent care in a hospital equipped with 20 beds, including a level II NICU. Scrub experience is a plus, and Epic EMR is strongly preferred, making documentation seamless and efficient.
