Job Description:

This travel nursing opportunity places you on a 29-bed stepdown and med-surg unit in Morgantown, WV, where you'll work 12-hour night shifts for a duration of 13 weeks. The unit, still under construction, will feature an array of equipment including CPAP, BiPAP, vents, and high-flow therapy devices, providing a chance to work with advanced respiratory support. Your role involves managing a diverse patient population primarily with medical diagnoses, handling titratable drips such as Heparin, insulin, and anti-hypertensives, and collaborating with charge RNs, house supervisors, and clinical associates. This assignment offers an engaging environment for both seasoned and new nurses, particularly those experienced with Epic and capable of managing up to 6 med-surg or 3 step-down patients. You will also be expected to participate in floating to other units as needed, with some weekend and holiday shifts included.
