Job Description:

Join the team at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore for a 13-week travel assignment as an RN in the Cardiovascular Intermediate Care Unit (IMC) CVPCU. This fast-paced surgical step-down unit specializes in caring for patients recovering from complex cardiac and vascular surgeries, including post-op heart transplants and patients on Mechanical Circulatory Support devices like LVADs. The role involves working 12-hour night shifts, managing high-acuity patients, and navigating a mix of IMC, telemetry, and non-monitored beds. Experience with EPIC, high acuity care, and previous travel assignments is preferred. Expect to provide expert nursing care to patients 1+ days out from procedures such as CABG, valve repairs, and replacements, all within a multidisciplinary team that values your surgical ICU background and critical care skills.
