Job Description:

This 13-week travel assignment places you in the J4-NSICU unit at a well-regarded hospital in Asheville, North Carolina. You will be working 12-hour night shifts, providing specialized care for neurology patients who have undergone thrombectomy, TPA procedures, or neurosurgery. The role involves managing patients on Baxter pumps and performing procedures such as bedside EVD monitoring, A-line placement, and CRRT. While the unit operates with a self-scheduling system, expect a demanding but rewarding environment focused on neurocritical care. Floating policies require you to assist other ICUs or step-down units as needed, giving you a broader experience across different critical care settings. Candidates must have ICU experience, ACLS, BLS, and familiarity with neurology post-procedure care to excel in this position.
