Job Description:

This 13-week travel contract places you on a fast-paced PCU floor in Omaha, Nebraska, working 12-hour night shifts. You’ll be providing specialized care to adults and geriatrics with conditions such as cardiac issues, nephrology concerns, strokes, and diabetes, including continuous EEG monitoring. Your role involves managing titratable drips like Cardizem and seizure medications while coordinating with charge nurses and support staff. Expect to perform critical thinking and problem-solving while maintaining a positive attitude in a busy environment. Orientation includes initial onboarding and 1-2 days on the unit to get you up to speed. Candidates must adhere to specific policies, including no artificial nails, and have valid BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications. The weekly gross pay is approximately $2,081.73 for a 36-hour workweek, with weekend and holiday rotations.
