Job Description:

This PCU Registered Nurse position offers an engaging opportunity on a 17 North Mixed Acuity Stepdown/PCU unit, featuring 32 beds and an average daily census of 25-32 patients. You'll be responsible for caring for patients with diverse medical diagnoses and pre- and post-surgical conditions, including those requiring PCU-level care. The shift runs from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM with a 36-hour workweek, including every other weekend. This assignment provides a chance to refine telemetry skills, manage dysrhythmias, and collaborate with rapid response teams, all in a teaching hospital environment. Float requirements and call responsibilities add to the dynamic experience, and first-time travelers are welcome to apply.
