Job Description:

This inpatient Stepdown Cardiac Registered Nurse role places you directly into the fast-paced environment of the Emergency Department's cardiac unit, focusing on caring for patients with complex cardiovascular conditions. You'll be expertly managing a variety of cardiac cases, including chest pain, heart failure, and post-procedure patients like those recovering from cath with stent placements. The shift is overnight, with 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, for a 13-week contract. This assignment is ideal for nurses with a strong PCU background and recent ED experience, who enjoy a team-oriented approach and floating to similar units when needed. You'll be responsible for managing titrated drips, using advanced equipment like Bipap, Cpap, and Alaris Pumps, and performing EKG tests upon arrival. It's a challenging yet rewarding role for those ready to contribute to critical cardiac care while working in a unit that values precision and teamwork.
