Job Description:

This 13-week travel assignment places you in the CVU at a vibrant hospital in Omaha, Nebraska. You will work 12-hour day shifts, providing specialized care for patients requiring intermediate or post-surgical cardiac monitoring. Your role involves managing a variety of cardiac and vascular diagnoses, including patients in the thoracic program, EP, cath lab, or with conditions like CHF, A-fib RVR, CVAs, and more. Expect to titrate medications such as Amio, nitro, and epi, and interpret telemetry strips on advanced monitors. The unit supports a high level of teamwork, with a nurse-to-patient ratio of up to 1:4, and includes tech and charge nurse support. This assignment offers opportunities to hone critical skills in a busy, fast-paced environment with a focus on cardiac and vascular care.
