Job Description:

This travel RN contract in Zanesville, Ohio, offers an engaging opportunity working night shifts in a high-acuity cardiac step-down unit. You'll be providing specialized care for post-operative open-heart patients, cardiac drips, and other cardiac/med-surg patients. The role involves working 36 hours per week, primarily from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with an expectation to work every third weekend and cover one holiday, depending on census needs. While on duty, you may be asked to float to other units during low volume periods or staffing shortages, and rare ventilated patient care may be required. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of recent cardiac step-down experience, including heart cath recovery, use of Epic EMR, and must hold current BLS and ACLS certifications. This assignment emphasizes a fast-paced, hands-on environment designed for seasoned cardiac nurses looking to deepen their expertise in a supportive setting.
