Job Description:

Join a noted Spokane hospital as a Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Progressive Care Unit (PCU), where your expertise in cardiac care will be put to good use. This 13-week travel assignment offers an engaging opportunity to work with patients experiencing a range of cardiac conditions including arrhythmias, post-operative open-heart surgery, and cardiac catheterization. The unit operates with a 1:3-4 nurse-to-patient ratio, giving you a chance to focus on high-quality patient monitoring and rhythm interpretation, utilizing skills with epidurals, chest tubes, and cardiac drips like nitro and heparin. The role involves 12-hour day shifts, with the flexibility to float to MedSurg and ICU overflow units when needed, and offers the chance to collaborate with a supportive team including techs, charge nurses, and hospitalists. The ideal traveler will bring at least 2 years of strong cardiac or PCU experience and hold BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
