Job Description:

This 13-week contract positions you in Milwaukee, WI, working 12-hour night shifts in a busy general medical-surgical unit within a Level III trauma and stroke center. You’ll primarily manage patients with conditions like CHF, AFib, cellulitis, and AKI, many of whom are ambulatory, and you'll handle admissions and discharges at a brisk pace. The role emphasizes skills in IV management, drains, ostomy care, and drip titrations such as heparin and insulin, with minimal ventilator or trach responsibilities. Support staff like charge nurses, hospitalists, RTs, and techs are available around the clock to assist.
