Job Description:

This 13-week contract places you in the heart of Portland’s Mother Baby Unit, where you'll be providing care to postpartum, antepartum, and gynecological patients. As a registered nurse, you'll work 3 days a week on 12-hour day shifts from 07:00 to 19:30, supporting a stable ratio of 1:3 for normal couples and 1:2 for those with complications. Your role involves nurturing new mothers and their babies, with opportunities to support rooming-in services and high-risk situations if labor skills are applicable. Certification requirements include an active Oregon RN license, BLS, and Neonatal Resuscitation Provider certification. EPIC experience is essential. This assignment offers a chance to experience Portland’s community-focused healthcare setting, emphasizing quality care during periods of significant life transitions.
