Job Description:

Join a Level II Trauma Center in Tacoma as an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse. This 13-week contract offers 10-hour night shifts, providing a chance to manage high-risk OB patients through active labor, C-sections, and postpartum recovery. The role involves triaging OB cases, interpreting fetal monitoring strips, circulating in the OR, and assisting during high-acuity deliveries. You’ll be part of a busy unit performing up to 300 deliveries monthly, working alongside a team of specialists and support staff. Your expertise in EPIC charting and strong interpersonal skills will be key as you navigate a fast-paced environment that thrives on collaboration and professionalism. Expect to influence patient outcomes directly while experiencing the dynamics of a regional maternity hub with advanced NICU capabilities.
