Job Description:

This Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse role involves providing specialized care during night shifts in a busy maternity unit. You will be responsible for assisting in C-section procedures, ensuring safe initial newborn care, and managing women experiencing labor and preeclampsia. The assignment stands out because of the unique opportunity to work with birthing tubs and participate in emergency response teams if needed. Expect to take on a 12-hour night shift from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, with a weekly commitment of 36 hours over 13 weeks. This contract requires ACLS, AWHONN Beginner & Advanced, BLS, FHM, and NRP certifications, with preference given to AWHONN Advanced experience. Be prepared to work in an environment demanding adaptability, as you might occasionally be assigned to emergency teams.
