Job Description:

This travel healthcare contract offers a unique opportunity to work in a 14-bed Labor & Delivery unit on a rotating schedule of 12-hour night shifts from 7 pm to 7 am. The role involves circulating in a specialized OB setting, with potential float to NICU and Post Partum units. Travelers will support a team ensuring patient safety and comfort during labor and delivery, with duties centered around monitoring, documentation, and responding to emergent situations. The assignment stands out due to its fast-paced environment, high staffing ratios, and a requirement for candidates with a minimum of 2 years experience and prior travel work. Flexibility is essential as the schedule is based on staffing needs, and the role demands proactive engagement with the team and adapting to the Epic Go Live period. Surgical scrubs are provided, and familiarity with Cerner and GE Centricity EMRs is required.
