Job Description:

Join a maternity float pool as a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse on a 13-week contract in Worcester, Massachusetts. This role involves working the night shift, with 12-hour shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM. You'll be assisting in both Labor & Delivery and postpartum units, supporting new mothers and their babies during a lively and fulfilling period. Expect to coordinate patient care, monitor fetal responses, and assist with procedures during this busy time. The assignment offers a chance to experience working in a specialized OB environment, with a focus on efficient, patient-centered care in a hospital setting. The position requires a minimum of 1-2 years of travel experience with intermediate or above competencies, and certifications such as ACLS, BLS, and NRP are necessary. Applicants should be prepared for a medication and telemetry exam at orientation, with the flexibility to handle the quick-paced nature of childbirth and postpartum support.
