Job Description:

Join our team for an exciting 13-week contract as a SICU Registered Nurse in the vibrant city of New Orleans. This role offers a chance to work in a high-acuity ICU setting with a patient ratio of 1:2, providing care to post-operative surgical recovery patients, including those recovering from complex procedures like CABG and valve repairs, as well as transplant recovery cases. The position involves 12-hour day shifts, either 3 or 4 days per week, giving you ample time to explore the city’s lively culture and historic charm. Be prepared for potential assignments with the Emergency Team, which requires flexibility to stay on-site during urgent events. Epic experience, along with familiarity with PA catheters and balloon pumps, will help you excel in this role. Certifications such as ACLS, BLS, and NIH are required. This unique assignment offers a chance to make an impact in a renowned healthcare environment while experiencing everything New Orleans has to offer.
