Job Description:

This registered nurse position in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) offers a unique opportunity to work within a 15-bed pediatric unit that combines both general pediatrics and critical care. The assignment involves caring for patients from birth to 18 years old who require complex and intensive medical attention, including those on ventilators and titratable drips. You will perform physical assessments, evaluate vital signs, administer medications, and educate families, all while navigating EPIC charting and ICU equipment such as Drager vents. The role integrates support from CNAs, the support team, and in-house intensivists, providing a comprehensive environment to advance your critical care skills in pediatric settings.
