Job Description:

Join the Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool as a Registered Nurse in Charleston, SC, for an engaging 13-week contract. You'll work 3 days a week, each shift lasting 12 hours from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM. This role involves floating across all pediatric units, including NICU, PICU, and CVPICU, providing critical care support where needed. If you have at least 2 years of pediatric ICU experience and hold an active South Carolina or multi-state license, this assignment offers the chance to broaden your expertise in a fast-paced setting. Expect to collaborate with a team that values flexibility—float within scope, cover every other weekend, and participate in holiday rotations. Certifications such as BLS and PALS are required, with preferred experience in ECMO or CRRT. You may be eligible for a block schedule upon manager approval, depending on unit needs. This opportunity is open to local candidates within a 60-mile radius, with a revised pay rate for locals. Prepare to make a positive impact in a supportive environment during hurricane season, when emergency response duties may be required.
