Job Description:

Join a fast-paced surgical oncology telemetry unit as a registered nurse on a 16-week contract, working 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. You'll be responsible for caring for adult and geriatric patients with diagnoses ranging from breast and thyroid cancers to hepatobiliary and colorectal malignancies. This assignment offers the opportunity to experience a busy, acuity-diverse environment where you'll perform procedures such as chemotherapy administration, blood transfusions, IV antibiotics, and manage oncologic emergencies within a team that values adaptability and skill. The role requires a minimum of 2 years of acute care experience, including at least 1 year in PCU, along with BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications. While this position emphasizes high-quality patient care, it also challenges you to navigate a dynamic staffing pattern with possibilities of floating within your scope.
