Job Description:

Join us as a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse on a 13-week contract in Newport News, VA. You will be a vital part of a busy maternity unit performing comprehensive maternal and neonatal assessments, providing support during labor and delivery, and assisting in operating rooms and recovery areas. The role involves working 12-hour night shifts (19:00 – 07:00) with a total commitment of 36 hours per week. This assignment offers the chance to gain experience in a facility handling 250-300 deliveries monthly, with a focus on high-risk cases. Unique to this role is the opportunity to be part of a high-volume birthing center, supporting women through the childbirth process in a setting that values teamwork and precision.
