Job Description:

Join us as a Respiratory Therapist on a 12-hour day shift at Maine Medical Center in Portland, Maine. This contract position involves working within the Respiratory Therapy department, providing support across various acute and critical care settings including NICU, PICU, ED, and adult units. You'll operate advanced respiratory equipment such as Drager V500/VN500, Hamilton T1/C1, and Vapotherm, ensuring patients receive optimal respiratory support. Expect to collaborate with a team of 14-16 RRTs, covering a range of patient cases in a busy hospital environment. The role offers the opportunity to utilize your 3+ years of experience in a tertiary, teaching hospital setting, with certification requirements including BLS, ACLS (preferred), and NRP for NICU. This assignment provides a balanced schedule with 36 guaranteed hours weekly, including call responsibilities, in a setting that values flexibility and teamwork.
