Job Description:

This contract position at a Critical Access facility offers a unique opportunity for emergency department nurses to experience working in a rural hospital setting in Grand Marais, Minnesota. The role involves floating between the ED and Med/Surg units, with a rotating 12-hour shift schedule primarily consisting of days and every other weekend work. You’ll use Meditech EMR and wear any appropriate scrubs, providing direct patient care in a calm, scenic environment that combines professional challenge with the beauty of northern Minnesota. The facility values versatility and quick adaptation, especially as ED nurses often cross-train with Med/Surg duties.
