Job Description:

Join a dedicated team of Medical Surgical nurses in Fort Wayne, Indiana, for a 13-week travel assignment working 12-hour night shifts. In this role, you'll manage a diverse patient population with conditions ranging from chronic illnesses like COPD, Diabetes, and CHF to acute infections and neurological issues. Your responsibilities will include performing patient assessments, developing care plans, utilizing advanced equipment like IV pumps and telemetry monitors, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams. This assignment offers the chance to experience a large hospital facility with over 600 beds, where you'll engage in procedures such as colonoscopies, thoracentesis, and minor surgeries. The work is fast-paced, rewarding, and provides ample opportunities to refine your skills in a well-supported environment with comprehensive orientation and flexible float duties to other medical units.
