Job Description:

This stepdown nursing contract offers an engaging opportunity to work in a 16-bed unit specializing in cardiac, neuro, and postoperative care. As a traveler, you'll be performing advanced assessments, interpreting tele / 12-lead EKGs, initiating and titrating IV drips, and managing complex patient cases like post cath interventions, pacers, and stroke recovery. The night shift runs from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, providing a peaceful nighttime environment to focus on critical thinking and patient assessments. Unique to this assignment is the requirement to float within skillsets across neighboring campuses, including Deaconess Midtown and Henderson, with minimal notice. This role is perfect for resilient, hard-working RNs who enjoy a collaborative team atmosphere and the challenge of managing diverse clinical scenarios in a fast-paced setting.
