Job Description:

Join a dedicated nursing team at the Asheville main campus, working 12-hour day shifts on a step-down and med-surg unit. This 13-week contract offers a unique opportunity to care for stable vented patients, chest tubes, and trach patients, all while utilizing equipment like lifts and cardiac drips. You will draw upon at least two years of nursing experience, especially with trachs, to provide top-quality care in a fast-paced environment. And yes, you'll get to put your cerner skills to good use if you have them! Flexibility and strong clinical competence are key as you'll be floating to other med-surg and progressive care units, with weekend on-call requirements and six Saturday or Sunday shifts over six weeks. This contract promises a rewarding experience in a supportive setting.
