Job Description:

Join a dedicated team of Registered Nurses in a Med/Surg unit where you'll provide vital post-operative and medical care to a medically stable patient population. This role offers the opportunity to manage epidural and PCA devices, drain and ostomy care, wound management, and general recovery procedures. You'll work in a busy but rewarding environment, where your expertise helps patients regain their strength and independence. The unit features a stroke-certified designation, and training will be provided to ensure you're confident in your responsibilities. Expect to collaborate with a team of experienced nurses and support staff, utilizing Meditech EMR and Pyxis medication systems. Night shifts run for 12 hours, giving you ample time to enjoy your days off, and the six-week rotational schedule keeps the work engaging and varied. This assignment is perfect for nurses ready to bring their broad Med/Surg skills to a new setting while experiencing the unique rhythms of a vibrant hospital environment.
