Job Description:

Join a 13-week travel contract working in an intensive care unit specializing in cardiovascular, trauma, and surgical patients. This role involves caring for high-acuity patients, including immediate post-op heart patients, trauma cases, and various surgical diagnoses such as CABG, AVR, MVR, aneurysms, and more. You'll be working 12-hour rotating shifts, providing advanced patient monitoring, titrating drips like norepi, dopamine, and insulin, and collaborating with a 24/7 team of intensivists, RTs, and charge nurses. The environment is fast-paced and challenging, yet rewarding for nurses experienced with critical care and high-acuity populations. Be prepared to use your skills to monitor telemetry, manage complex drips, and provide superior patient care in a tertiary care setting that values expertise and teamwork.
