Job Description:

Join a specialized contract opportunity as a registered nurse in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) at a prominent medical center in Olathe, KS. This role involves providing care during 12-hour night shifts, working three nights per week. The position offers the chance to work with advanced critical care procedures, including CRRT, Bipap management, chest tubes, PICC lines, and open heart experience with pacer wires. You’ll be responsible for managing your own consults, conducting codes, and supporting patients with complex needs, all while floating to various inpatient units as needed. This assignment is tailored for experienced critical care nurses seeking a focused, stimulating environment without the routine of vascular access teams or extensive call duties.
