Job Description:

This registered nurse position offers an engaging opportunity to work in a fast-paced cardiac telemetry unit, focusing on post-procedure care and rhythm management. The role involves managing patients with diverse diagnoses such as chest pain, CAD, AFib, and other cardiac and vascular conditions, often using cardiac drips that are not titrated for blood pressure. You will be responsible for telemetry monitoring, interpreting dysrhythmias, and providing patient education in a setting where immediate response and critical thinking are vital. Expect to be part of a team that occasionally responds to emergency events, which could mean staying until the situation resolves. The shift is 12-hour nights, and the assignment lasts for 13 weeks, offering ample opportunity to immerse yourself in a specialized cardiac care environment.
